What Courses should you complete first?

As a Council we’re subject to different laws and are audited regularly to make sure all our staff knows their responsibilities. That means there are some information all our staff needs to undertake.

The first course everyone has to complete is the e-Induction module. This has four parts and will provide you with information on key corporate policies and information you need to know about.

It is likely that the Service or job will require you to do other courses, for example:

  • Adult Support and Protection
  • Fraud, Bribery and Corruption policy
  • Child Protection: Getting it Right for Every Child
  • Diversity and Equality policy
  • Employee Code of Conduct
  • Freedom of Information policy

You should check with your line manager to find out which ones you should complete next. In order to make sure you complete all the required courses, save them in your favourites.

Additional Support

If you’re not familiar or confident using computers and being online, here’s more support options you might want to check out.
