As an organisation, we want to ensure that everybody feels valued and respected.  We endeavour to ensure equal opportunities for all and we appreciate our diverse and talented workforce.  Research has proven that an organisation that values diversity and gets it right, is more productive and performs better.  Not only does an equal and diverse organisation become an employer of choice, but it is also able to retain and get the most from its talented employees.

On the equality and diversity pages, you will find information about the Equality Act (2010), the protected characteristics and management tools and other information relevant to managing equality and diversity.

While we do not expect you to be an expert on all areas of the law, it is good for you to know what resources, advice and guidance is available to you and your employees.  Therefore, we suggest that you familiarise yourself with these pages, visit them frequently for updates and undertake the training available to you.
