ABATEMENT CALCULATION FOR 2016

365 – 277 = 88/365 x 236.8 hours = 57.09 hours x 11/12ths = 52.33 hours

Public holidays which fell outwith sickness absence period = 0 hours

Entitlement is therefore increased to statutory minimum of 189.00 hours (28 x 7.4 x 11/12)  (including available public holidays)

                Plus entitlement for January 2016:

                Annual Leave: 32 days x 7.4 hours x 1/12th           19.73 hours

                Public holidays: 3 days x 7.4 hours                          22.2 hours

                Total                                                                            41.93 hours

                Plus entitlement carried forward from 2015:          242.60 hours

                Grand Total:                                                                473.53 hours

                Annual Leave taken 2016:

                01/02/16-29/03/16                                                  319.00 hours

                Balance

                473.53 hours – 319 hours                                        154.53 hours
