‘Equally Safe at Work’ Pilot Programme
Aberdeen City is one of seven Council’s who are participating in a pilot accreditation programme, Equally Safe at Work, which aims to address women’s inequality at work and prevent violence against women in the workplace and in wider society. The programme has been designed by ‘Close the Gap’, Scotland’s national policy and advocacy body working on women’s labour market equality. By participating in the pilot, councils will have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership in the sector and community by showing that they are taking steps to address inequality and prevent violence against women.
Details of relevant organisation can be found below along with the fact sheets giving information on the various types of violence against women.
