Prevent Suicide is a suicide prevention app and website aimed at users in the North East of Scotland. It provides helpful info for those affected in any way by suicide, extensive contact details for services in Aberdeen city, Aberdeenshire and Moray as well as providing users with the ability to create their own safety plan.
It is worth also looking at the ‘Mental Health Foundation’s 16 free podcasts’ to help you live a mentally happier life – from New Years’ Resolutions to Relaxation for Better Sleep to Mindfulness and How to Overcome Fear and Anxiety. Can be listened to on the Mental Health Foundation website, downloaded or subscribe to on iTunes.
