A new scheme called “The Commuter Travel Club Scheme (TCTCS)” is being introduced by First Bus.
If you are currently part of the Bus 2 Work Scheme for First Bus once you receive your bus ticket for May as part of the bus to work scheme (Tickets will be issued week commencing the 22nd of April). The scheme will no longer be available due to changes made by First Bus; First Group.
The TCTCS will only be available to customers with smartphones as the tickets will be on your mobile and paper tickets will no longer be issued. First Group have advised us the scheme will only be available to employees with a smart device as it improves their boarding times, operational performance and reduces administrative costs.
Aberdeen City Council employees will receive a 10% discount on the publicly available fare therefore if you signed up for this scheme you would receive a monthly ticket for £54.40 as opposed to the public fare of £60.50.
By signing up to this scheme, a discounted monthly ticket would be sent direct to your mobile every month and payment is taken by direct debt from your bank account, not from your salary as previous.

The Council has negotiated discounted monthly bus tickets with Stagecoach.
If you wish to take part in the scheme, the monthly bus ticket cost will be deducted from your net salary and Stagecoach will send the monthly bus tickets directly to your address by the 29th of every month.
The advantage is that the monthly cost is less than the cost of purchasing a monthly ticket directly from Stagecoach.
